Research Stipend on Neural Plasticity

We are offering a research stipend to investigate theories of memorization in neural plasticity. The focus is a critical evaluation of the role of LTP/LTD and synaptic plasticity in memory. This position is virtual and could be done part-time, or full-time for three months. The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge of neurobiology, especially plasticity mechanisms, excellent communication skills, interest and enthusiasm for next-generation neural theories, a good understanding of computation and mathematics. Programming skills are not required for this position. Detailed knowledge of one area of neural plasticity, such as synapses, intracellular pathways or genetics, is expected. Apply directly to Dr. Scheler by email to gscheler@gmail.com. Further information available on request. This opportunity will be available until Dec 30, 2020.
